A Perspective
Living many lives in a lifetime,
Growing up in life, walking on the roads
Marked by conservative correctness
Being aware of realism.
Yet nurturing the path of idealism,
Juggling behind the shadows of
What we are and
What we ought to be.
Clinging to the present
That is inherently transitory.
Unknowingly ignoring
The inevitable future
Faith in the capacity to alter
The direction of fate.
Confronting death in its varied forms
Rediscovering a certain purpose to live.
