Song of an ardent lover
The ardent lover in his verse,
Drenched in the deluge of passion
Brimming with a divine love
Urges his beloved to preserve
His essence eternally
In her sublime soul.
His presence lightens up
The palace of her heart
His melody enlivens her spirit
His love blooms as a fragile bud
Fostered in her deepest core.
A master of words,
Tagore soulfully connects with every loving heart
Magically melts the candle
Of ardour with the warmth
Of his enchanting melody and verses.
